We provide safe, secure, nurturing, and efficient care for children from birth through 5th grade. Our prayer is that every child will have frequent and meaningful opportunities to see, hear, and learn about Jesus Christ and the example He set for all of us. It is our mission to partner with families in helping their children grow into devoted followers of Christ. Ministry responsibilities include completing a background check, faithfully teaching and reading Scripture, praying for each child, demonstrating Christ-like patience and love, and communicating the day’s message in ways that each child can understand.

The coffee ministry is an opportunity to meet both members and visitors in a relaxed format, allowing you to serve in an unassuming way. Coffee ministry volunteers are responsible for manning the coffee cart before Bible classes and between Bible classes and worship service.

Our ushers are the first to arrive at the church building to unlock the exterior and interior door. An usher’s primary role, however, is to help seat church attenders. If the attender arrives late, the usher knows where to seat them. Ushers may also help greeters with restock of bulletins, registration cards, or provide on-site security. They also see that noise distractions from the halls and other rooms do not interfere with the worship service. There are also opportunities for male members to read scripture, lead prayers, and serve communion during the worship service.

North Tampa is proud to partner with Messengers of Hope to distribute food and other essentials to our community. Distribution takes place every third Thursday from 1pm to 2:30pm.

Heart 2 Heart sends cards to those that need encouragement. This group meets at Renee McLaughlin’s house on the third Saturday of each month to address cards to those on our prayer list, active military family & friends, and others that are coping with illness, death, or other challenges of life to let them know someone is praying for them and cares about their situation.
